Logistics Coordinator – International Road

Location: Coventry

Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-hour rotational day shifts
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

PSM Recruitment are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a busy international logistics team based in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with logistics or transport planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, time-critical environment, coordinating deliveries across Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate time-critical international road transport movements.
• Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Monitor transport schedules and communicate any delays, providing suitable solutions to customers.
• Maintain a good understanding of European driving regulations and restrictions that may impact transport planning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport carriers and suppliers.
• Identify and report any gaps in carrier coverage.
• Record and escalate carrier performance issues in line with company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous logistics, transport or freight forwarding experience is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Additional European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
