PSM Recruitment are seeking an experience Shift Customs Clerk to work for a successful Customs Clearance company  in Dover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing the day to day customs clearance work
• Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required
• Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn customs procedures & principles
• Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
• IT Literate
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Be conscientious and have attention to details
• Be able to be part of a team
• Must be able to identify and report problems
• Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff
• At least 1 years experience in Customs Clearance

Key Performance standards: 

• Deadlines are met in a timely manner
• Processing is timely and accurate
• Obtain positive client feedback

Working Conditions:

Full Time – Shift work to support 24/7 operation (4 on 4 off – 2 days 2 nights rotation).
